H&M Maternity Wear

Finding cute maternity clothes has been a harder task than I thought.  When I got pregnant I figured I could wear a lot of the things I already owned for awhile (which I have) But now a lot of my shirts are looking just a little too short and tight in the belly area.  So I decided it was time to upgrade to some cute maternity clothes.  I thought to myself, "It's 2014, there should be plenty of cute, fashion forward maternity clothes out there".  Wow was I wrong! I was pleasantly surprised to find that H&M has a maternity section, along with ASOS, but I was highly disappointed in the selection at some other retailers.  Apparently just because you're pregnant, you are no longer allowed to be cute, you must look homely and dare I say it, like a MOM! Granted, I'm 29 years old, it's not like I'm 16 and pregnant, but it doesn't mean I want to start looking like I shop at Cold Water Creek (no offense, Mom) Here are a few of my faves from H&M, standby for an ASOS post coming up next week!

Pregnancy Style

 

So the news has been Facebook official, and I haven't blogged in quite sometime, but now I'm making it "blogger" official, we are expecting a baby girl June 30, 2014! {We really don't know the sex, but I have an instinct it's a girl and many people have told me I'm having a girl} I am 12 weeks and starting to show a little, not enough to be cute yet, just enough that I look like I have a beer gut, lol.  But I'm trying to come up with some cute pregnancy looks to try and boost my spirit from feeling like a cow.  I still want to look fashionable and don't want to 'let myself go' once I become a Mom {fingers crossed!}. But here is my look from today, I feel too gross for actual photos, maybe once my pregnant belly actually looks cute.

Casual Friday

My Friday OOTD in a nutshell. Only got 4 hours sleep so I'm looking quite rough this morning.  But I'm leaving early to go tailgate for the Luke Bryan concert tonight-Love! <3

Fall Shopping Spree

So, being the fabulous husband he is, Trey is letting me take some of the extra money we didn't use for our wedding (is it possible we actually saved too much?!) and letting me go on a $1000 shopping spree this weekend for fall essentials.  Since this will probably NEVER happen again, I've been researching all the best fall staples and have come up with a little list of things that will probably make my closet. 

What are some of your favorite fashion trends and what would you buy if you could go on a $1000 shopping spree? Seriously let me know because I don't want to miss out on something I could have bought  but didn't find out till afterwards!!

Spring Break Essentials

I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow for a little getaway with my girlfriends.  I've just been stressed out with working 2 jobs and the wedding planning that I needed to get away! I'm supposed to be saving money, but my mental health was at stake! I was on the verge of a mental breakdown if I didn't get a vacation.  Sometimes you just have to say screw it! Money will always be coming in, but you're only young once :)
