Sequin Collar Sweater

I don't really have much to say about this outfit.  Other than Welcome back to shitty Ohio, where winter coats and boots are still in full gear! Although, it's supposed to be in the 50's this weekend, so that will be nice.  I'd like to get some shopping done, the outlet mall, maybe bed bath and beyond, I don't know if we'll have time! Lol

I'm Back =)

So I just got back from Panama City, it was essentially a Spring Break trip for everyone else, but just a short weekend get-a-way for me, since I don't get a spring break and all.  But it was nice to get some sunshine (Even though it was only mid-60's while I was there) and just have a few days off work, drinking all day and partying like I was 23 again. (I told everyone I was 23, since who want's to party with a 28 year old lady on spring break, lol) Once people found out I was 28 they called me Mom the rest of the time...story of my life since I started dating Trey when he was 22 and in college, so I went to more Frat parties than I'd like to admit.  I only took a few pics on vacation, I left my phone in the room the whole time since I didn't want to lose it. I only lost one pair of flip flops, so that is definitely a success since it's not uncommon for me to lose my phone, camera, wallet, ID and a little bit of dignity all in one night.

A few pics of me and my friend Nikki with some of our guy friends who were down there with us.

It was definitely chilly this day! You can see another girl down at the pool in a hoodie also.

Now that I'm back I'm trying to cut back on my alcohol intake, but I enjoy having a bottle glass of wine every night.  My newest thing to try and make the most of the bottle is turning it into a wine smoothie.  For this particular one I used Moscato, but I'm typically a red wine drinker.

What You'll Need:
Blender (I use the magic bullet)
5-6oz of wine (Any kind you'd like, but I used Moscato today)
3-4oz of light cranberry juice (You could use any kind of fruit juice from orange juice to lemonade, I sometimes use crystal light as well)
3 ice cubes
3-4 frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
Blend until all the ice is crushed and if it's too thick add a splash more juice or if it's too watery add one more ice cube and blend again.  It all depends on your desired consistency.
I topped it with a squeeze of lemon and garnished it with a lemon wedge to be pretty :)
And if you'd prefer it strong, by all means add more wine!

Birchbox

So I'm officially obsessed with Birchbox! It's a club where you pay $10 a month and you get a box full of sample sized goodies, mostly beauty products, shipped to your door once a month.

I get so excited because you have no idea what you'll be getting (It's like when I order clothes online and usually by the time it ships I forget what the heck I even bought!) I love experimenting and trying new products without making a $15+ investment on a beauty product that I might not even like! So this is perfect for me!

Has anyone else signed up for Birchbox?   How much do you love it?

This month I got a facewash, lip plumper, shave cream, headband and nail file.  Definitely give it a try! It's a small investment to potentially find your newest beauty obsession that you'll swear by for life!

Spring Break Essentials

Spring Break Essentials

I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow for a little getaway with my girlfriends.  I've just been stressed out with working 2 jobs and the wedding planning that I needed to get away! I'm supposed to be saving money, but my mental health was at stake! I was on the verge of a mental breakdown if I didn't get a vacation.  Sometimes you just have to say screw it! Money will always be coming in, but you're only young once :)

Pink Peonies Recreation

So by now we all know I get a lot of my fashion inspiration from places like Pinterest and of course from other fabulous fashion bloggers.  I love when I see a look and think "I have everything to make that outfit!" This particular look came from Rachel from the Pink Peonies.  She is an amazing blogger who is just adorable and always looks so classy.  I wish I could raid her closet for sure! She definitely has a larger shopping budget than I do, but I still managed to create a similar look with all budget friendly pieces.
Unfortunately it's still winter here in Ohio {snow blowing outside the window as I type this} so I had to swap the sandals for boots.  First day of spring my @$$!

Wearing Green on St. Patty's Day {Part 2}

St. Patty's Day-Casual

Happy St. Patrick's Day weekend everyone!
If you missed my last St. Patty's Day Post, I'm going to be dressed something like this
So if you still want to look festive, without looking like a giant drunken nerd, then this would be a more subtle look for drinking green beer.  It's laid back like you didn't get dressed up, just threw together an outfit.  But {god forbid} you bump into your boss, or someone of importance, you can still keep your dignity when you return to work on Monday.

Tights and Shorts

I'm always looking for ways to incorporate summer clothes in the winter time.  I just get so excited for summer and I hate the fact that my summer wardrobe is probably double the size of my winter wardrobe, so I just get a little antsy to wear some of my stuff again.

 Top-H&M // Shorts-Express {end of the season, on sale!} // Scarf-Forever 21 // Boots-Aldo.
Who is ready for their spring wardrobe? I know I am! I'm heading down to Florida next weekend, so I am so pumped to be in the sunshine and wear shorts and sandals! Yay!!
