Sisters Maternity Shoot

I am beyond lucky and blessed (#blessed) to be pregnant as the same time as my older sister, both expecting our first babies within 2 weeks of each other! We had a joint baby shower to spare our mutual friends from sitting through 2 torturous showers and decided while she was up here from D.C. that I wanted to get some sister maternity pictures taken.

True to form I hit up pinterest for some inspiration and love the way our photo's turned out!

Of course, now they're not sold on Phoenix for their little boy anymore, so this picture (my favorite, of course) may be wasted :(

Huge Shout out to my good friend Morgan from Kinzel Photography for the amazing memories!

Denim and Leather

Well, faux leather I should say...I'm not sure how I should feel about the fact that at 32 weeks pregnant I can still fit into my 'party pants'. I either think, "Wooo-hoooo, I haven't gotten that fat!" or "What the hell size pants am I buying that I can still wear them at 32 weeks pregnant?!" And they're even still falling down a little...I know right, complain some more! Boo-hoo I'm in my 8th month of pregnancy and can still wear all my normal pants! But honestly, it's baffling to me!

Trey, the wonderful hubby that he is got me this Tory Burch bag for an early Mother's Day gift.  After speaking with a fellow Mom who said I will definitely want a smaller purse (I was carrying around my 3.1 Phillip Lim Large Tote from Target that weighs about 20lbs) So I immediately started looking for a cute, but larger crossbody.  To my delight Tory Burch was having a Friends & Family 25% off sale, so I jumped at the opportunity!
8 more weeks till we get to meet our beautiful (fingers crossed!) little girl, Cambria!

Gender Reveal-It's a...

...GIRL! I knew it! I just had a feeling all along it was a little girl, despite the both of us wanting a boy.  I am so psyched and couldn't be happier to be having a girl! Let's just say the shopping has already started and it's trouble. I told myself I will try not to go crazy and an infant doesn't need to be fashionable, but who am I kidding? Of course my infant has to be fashionable! I'll be sure to update with some her newest fashions :)

Welcome Baby Cambria <3

It's finally here!

My wedding video is finally here!!! I have been waiting months for this! I was getting a tad frustrated because it was taking so long, but I was trying to be patient, and knew when it came it would be worth all the wait, and it was! I got it while I was at work and was just bawling my eyes out watching it and re living the moments of the best day of my life! We are so blessed that everything went flawlessly, we had 350 of our closest family and friends to celebrate and such an amazing team of people to capture the whole day! I still plan on making a post of all my favorite pics also :) Stay Tuned...

Dressing for 2...

...or should I say 4!  I felt prepared to dress for 2, I had a lot of things in my wardrobe that I knew would double at 'Maternity wear' once I got bigger, but the one thing I wasn't prepared for was how big my boobs would get! A lot of clothes still fit my belly, hell, my jeans all mostly still fit! It's the days I want to put on a dress with a blazer and tights that will fit my belly, to my surprise won't fit my chest anymore! Today, I had to improvise! I have 2 adorable cotton shelf bra dresses from Victoria's Secret that I knew would be perfect for showing off my baby bump.  Unfortunately the shelf bra, which used to be the dresses best feature, was limiting today because my knockers would not fit into the tiny 'shelf'.  I had to end up wearing a bra with it, so you couldnt see the elastic line across the middle of my chest, and putting on a tank underneath, then throwing a scarf over to hide the tank.  It ended up working out, but made for a frustrating morning for an otherwise simple outfit.

H&M Maternity Wear

Finding cute maternity clothes has been a harder task than I thought.  When I got pregnant I figured I could wear a lot of the things I already owned for awhile (which I have) But now a lot of my shirts are looking just a little too short and tight in the belly area.  So I decided it was time to upgrade to some cute maternity clothes.  I thought to myself, "It's 2014, there should be plenty of cute, fashion forward maternity clothes out there".  Wow was I wrong! I was pleasantly surprised to find that H&M has a maternity section, along with ASOS, but I was highly disappointed in the selection at some other retailers.  Apparently just because you're pregnant, you are no longer allowed to be cute, you must look homely and dare I say it, like a MOM! Granted, I'm 29 years old, it's not like I'm 16 and pregnant, but it doesn't mean I want to start looking like I shop at Cold Water Creek (no offense, Mom) Here are a few of my faves from H&M, standby for an ASOS post coming up next week!

Spring Colors

It is currently 57° in Akron, OH-can I get a hallelujah! I decided with the warm weather upon us (we're supposed to get snow again tomorrow) that I would dress a little 'springy' today, complete with floral pumps.  I'm rocking the baby bump a little (kind of just looks like a muffin top) But I'm slowly getting that baby belly.  I had to rubber band my pants today (you moms will know what I'm talking about) but proud to say I'm still in all my regular pants :)

24 Weeks-Party Pants!

Sorry to my readers (all 2 of you, lol) that I have not been keeping up on my pregnancy fashion posts.  I mainly blame this harsh, harsh Ohio winter we have been having that I have not had it in me to dress cute enough to blog about.  It's been below zero more days than I can count and that kind of weather just drains all of my fashion energy. Old comfy sweaters and leggings have been a staple, there has been nothing to see on this prego.  But the calling of temperatures in the mid 50's today prompted me to bust out my rarely worn Tory Burch flats and a new buy from Target.  I have never in my life felt so guilty about buying 2 tops from Target, but I wanted to get a few large shirts in my wardrobe before I actually needed them.

Another reason I haven't been blogging, is that I haven't bought any new clothes since before Christmas! I never thought I'd be able to tighten up my purse strings, but it's amazing what the fear of becoming a mother will do to you.  In our marriage, I am the spender, Trey is the saver. But since I've been pregnant I get on him about every penny we spend.  I'm constantly telling him we can't afford things, and worried about our budget, but in all reality we are doing fine. I bought 2 tops and a the white tank underneath for $40 and had horrible buyers remorse (but not enough to return them). I'm hoping with spring on the horizon I'll get back to my old self and get some cute summery maternity wear.

No bump in this pic, I bought the top in a Large for when I do get bigger I have a few summery tops to fit my growing bump.  But I am thankful that starting my 6th month of pregnancy I can still fit into my faux leather pants :)

Cobalt Blue

If you've been reading for awhile I'm sure you've realized that I love re-creating outfits from Pinterest. It's where I get most of my inspiration when getting dressed in the morning. I feel like Cher on Clueless, except instead of having a computer with a database of all my clothes to make outfits, I have a board called "My Closet" with all outfits that I can make with clothes I already have.  So on a lazy morning, I scroll through my pins in "My Closet" to find an outfit for the day. Here is my latest.

First Glimpse of the *Baby Bump*

I'm officially in my second trimester this week.  As I was looking forward to getting my energy back and hoping the nausea would fade away, I found myself actually puking for the first time my entire pregnancy =( Not what I was expecting, but *knock on wood* that it was the first and last time!
I haven't really taken any progress pics, mainly because I am barely showing, but this morning I noticed the start of a baby bump poking out, so thought I'd share my growing bump with the world today.
